About Hassan
Hassan Kayemba is a born talented and gifted dancer, musician, percussionist, composer and an actor from East Africa Uganda. Hassan grew up in a big extended musical family where all his grandparents and other elders on the village used to teach him a lot of folk music, dances, folk tells informally through narration and expressions which inspired Hassan to go on developing his talents. He is a co-founder and Artistic Director of Bitone children center and Bitone troupe based in Kampala Uganda. Hassan is also the Director of the Bitone Folks UK –an African Dance Troupe based in London that performs various African dances and music at all events.


Hassan is responsible for coordinating all the international music and theatre aspects in which Bitone Troupe can engage to both raise awareness and revenue to support our project activities. He is charged with duties of identifying possible partners in the arts field abroad for possible exchanges and performance tours. As a performing artist, Hassan holds high experience and passion in working with children and all ages in communities using music, storytelling's and dances as tools to facilitate awareness for peace, physical and economic development.
